Have You Ever Wondered About The Purpose of Life ?!!
IMAGINE YOU WAKE UP IN A HUGE FACTORY THAT YOU'VE NEVER BEEN IN BEFORE. YOU SEE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WORKING AWAY, AND ALL THE DOORS AND WINDOWS ARE SHUT AND SEALED OFF.
People work, sleep, and spend all their time inside this factory. In this situation, what would you think to yourself? "Now I'm here I might as well join in with everyone else and play the game of life," or would you think, "How did I get here? What lies outside the factory? Why have I been put here?" This example is like our existence here on earth.
We human beings have been thrown into existence without any choice, so questions such as Where did I come from? What am I doing here? and Where am I going after I die? keep popping up in our minds. We forget these basic questions in our daily routines, but ignoring them will not make them go away.
As the Qur'an eloquently explains,"There truly are signs in the creation of the heavens and earth, and in the alternation of night and day, for those with understanding, who remember God standing, sitting, and lying down, who reflect on the creation of the heavens and earth: "Our Lord! You have not created all this without purpose …". Chapter 3 Verses 190 – 191.
Purpose gives us that deeper meaning. So we may now ask, what is our purpose?
The Islamic concept of purpose is dependent upon two basic statements:
- It's rational to believe in God
- There are good reasons to believe that the Quran is the word of God

Allah said in The Holy Quran (Translation) :
" Verily never will Allah change a condition of a people until they change what is within their souls " [Al-Ra'd :11]
Prophet Mohammad ( Peace Be Upon Him ) said :
" When you smile to your brother's face, it is charity."
" None of you [truly] believes until he loves for his brother that which he loves for himself. "
" Have taqwa (fear) of Allah wherever you may be, and follow up a bad deed with a good deed which will wipe it out, and behave well towards the people. "
" Make things easy and do not make them difficult. Calm people down and do not alarm them."
" Whoever would be glad to have his livelihood expanded and his life prolonged , should maintain family ties."

And whoever alleviates the need of a needy person, Allah will alleviate his needs in this world and the Hereafter.
Whoever shields [or hides the misdeeds of] a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah will aid His slave so long as he aids his brother. And whoever follows a path to seek knowledge therein, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.
No people gather together in one of the Houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, except that sakeenah (tranquility) descends upon them, and mercy envelops them, and the angels surround them, and Allah mentions them amongst those who are with Him. And whoever is slowed down by his actions, will not be hastened forward by his lineage."
" Allah the Almighty has said : 'O Son of Adam, as long as you invoke Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O Son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and you then asked forgiveness from Me, I would forgive you. O Son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the Earth, and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it [too].' "

قال الله تعالى : " وَاتَّقُوا يَوْماً تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لا يُظْلَمُونَ " البقرة:281
وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلاً مِّمَّن دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ " فصلت:33 "

وما اجتمع قوم في بيت من بيوت الله يتلون كتاب الله ويتدارسونه بينهم إلا حفتهم الملائكة ونزلت عليهم السكينة وغشيتهم الرحمة وذكرهم الله فيمن عنده ، ومن أبطأ به عمله لم يسرع به نسبه " ... رواه مسلم
من قال لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير ، في يوم مائة مرة ، كانت له عدل عشر رقاب ، وكتبت له مائة حسنة ، ومحيت عنه مائة سيئة ، وكانت له حرزا من الشيطان يومه ذلك حتى يمسي ، ولم يأت أحد بأفضل مما جاء به إلا أحد عمل أكثر من ذلك ... رواه مسلم
قال - صلى الله عليه وسلم - " أيعجز أحدكم أن يكسب كل يوم ألف حسنة ؟! فسأله سائل من جلسائه كيف يكسب أحدنا ألف حسنة ؟ قال : يسبح مائة تسبيحة ، فيكتب له ألف حسنة أو يحط عنه ألف خطيئة " .... صحيح مسلم
قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى فى الحديث القدسى : " يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ! إِنَّكَ مَا دَعَوْتنِي وَرَجَوْتنِي غَفَرْتُ لَك عَلَى مَا كَانَ مِنْك وَلَا أُبَالِي ، يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ! لَوْ بَلَغَتْ ذُنُوبُك عَنَانَ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ اسْتَغْفَرْتنِي غَفَرْتُ لَك ، يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ! إنَّك لَوْ أتَيْتنِي بِقُرَابِ الْأَرْضِ خَطَايَا ثُمَّ لَقِيتنِي لَا تُشْرِكُ بِي شَيْئًا لَأَتَيْتُك بِقُرَابِهَا مَغْفِرَةً " رواه الترمذى
